Amulett

The main thread of this collection are Molas. Handmade textiles done by Gunadule Indigenous women in Colombia, using a reverse appliqué technique with colorful layers of fabric and almost invisible stitches. Only women have the ability to communicate with the higher cosmos to receive messages and translate them into these powerful textiles. Molas are symbols of protection; evil spirits are meant to get lost in the colorful labyrinths. We use antique Mola textiles and give them a new life, preserving ancestral traditions and allowing their wisdom to touch and protect more women around the world.
